Today
could be celebrated as Zombie day: Return of the Dead Tea Party. For
months and throughout the presidential primary season, media and
“Republican Strategists” on cable have claimed the Tea Party Dead –
withered away. Articles like the one linked, http://politic365.com/2012/01/20/ten-signs-the-tea-party-is-dead/,
abound. After all – there are no rallies so we must be gone. When we
were not accused of being dead, we were accused of single-handedly
stopping all meaningful compromise in
Washington DC. Never mind that every compromise cost us hundreds of
billions of dollars in national treasure we do not have.

So which is it? Are we dead or all powerful?

We’re
neither, we’re working on Tea Party 2.0 and the media is looking for
Tea Party 1.0. Tea Party 1.0 showed up to protest the egregious abuses
of power. Tea Party 1.0 enabled millions of Americans to learn how
corruption broke down the checks and balances of our Republic. Tea Party
1.0 culminated with the 2010 elections where the House at the federal
level made historic gains. Tea Party 1.0’s most significant success was
not the federal government’s change but the 700 local government
candidates who replaced the up-and-coming spend-a-holics. Tea Party 1.0
permanently shifted the dialogue to fiscal sanity. Four years ago,
Mitt Romney was the most conservative candidate who Republicans could
have chosen. Today, Mitt Romney is the most liberal Republican
choice. Four Years ago, American talked about change, now America
talks about rolling back government.

Six Years ago, Senator Lugar was so formidable, he went unchallenged. Today he stands defeated.

Barack
Obama noted Dick Lugar was President Obama’s favorite Republican.
Senator Lugar came to symbolize Washington’s devil’s bargain – you get
power if you compromise your principles. Today, the Tea Party tore up
that bargain. You get power in Washington today, if your constituents
believe you represent them. Throughout the country, Tea Party 2.0 works
to effect change - not through massive rally’s but through winning
elections. Our goal is to win from the ground up. Tea Party 2.0 is
about controlling the party apparatus from the ground up of BOTH
political parties – Republicans first and then the Democrats. Tea Party
2.0 is about controlling local communities and NOT promoting big
spending progressives. In 2010 700 local elected big spenders were
defeated.

Tea
Party 2.0 in 2012 will repeat the local gains of 2010. How do you
know? Look at Wisconsin and North Carolina – both states had marquee
votes on 8 May. In North Carolina the citizens voted against Judicial
Activism by passing a Marriage amendment to their state constitution.
In Wisconsin the two most popular democrats challenging Scott Walker
could not beat him if you combined their respective total votes in the
primary. If the two most popular Dems in Wisconsin combined vote totals
can’t beat Walker’s uncontested primary race vote total, how will the
progressives win in the general election? They won’t. It’s no secret
that the Tea Party in Wisconsin is behind Scott Walker.

SO
continue to work diligently and cheerfully in 2012 for Tea Party 2,0
goals and know we’re winning far more than we are losing. Reversing 100
years of progressivism won’t be a 100 day effort. It won’t be a 1000
day effort, but neither will it be a 100 year effort…And Tea Party 3.0
lurks in the future…

The Freedomist has been investigating the charges levied against Tea Party champion Christine O’Donnell by the partisan group, CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington- which targets conservative leaders), led by Attorney Melanie Sloan. In the course of that investigation, The Freedomist has learned that the group, CREW, filed a charge on behalf of a Leonard S Togman. (see the official charges here from a PDF posted on the crew site: http://www.citizensforethics.org/node/45695
Complainant Leonard S. Togman is a citizen of the United States, a registered voter, and a resident of the State of Delaware. As a registered voter, …
While Mr Togman may be a Delaware voter, what has been omitted from Melanie Sloan’s statements on this case, from the official complaint filed by the FEC, and the official statements made by CREW, is that Leonard Togman is Melanie Sloan’s father. Not only is Leonard Togman the father of Melanie Sloan, like Melanie Sloan herself, he also happens to be a heavy Biden supporter. He is also a strong supporter of the man many people believe Christine O’Donnell will challenge in 2012, Thomas Carper.
This story is about much more than Tea Party challenger Christine O’Donnell, this is about the tactics being used by progressives to assault our Tea Party and Conservative Leaders over and over again with personal assaults, using accusations, false charges, and a myriad of Alinksy-like tactics to undermine the person, since they cannot stand in front of the American people and tell them to vote for their kind of candidate, ones who are beholden to big government, big unions, and political class elitism. This is why we call on our Freedomist readers to help us get this story out about Melanie Sloan and her Father, political class elitists using our own government to attempt to destroy any Freedom-loving leader that dares stand in the way of their big government agenda. How can you help” You can link this site onto your own site. You can tweet this story out. But more importantly, you can do this:
contact the Chairman of the House Committee that oversees the FEC to ask them exactly why they have not dismissed this obvious partisan assault by the father of one of Christine O’Donnell’s political enemies, Melanie Sloan.
Go to his official House website here: http://lungren.house.gov/index.html
Call him at these numbers and tell Dan Lungren to ask the FEC why they are allowing this trumped up charge to go forward, and why they are not investigating Melanie Sloan for filing false charges:
(916) 859-9906: District Office
(202) 225-5716: Washington Office
Here is more information about this emerging controversy now surrounding the accuser herself, Melanie Sloan:
1) Melanie Sloan’s father is Leonard S. Togman, a retired attorney from Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP.[3]
2) CREW’s Complaint against Christine O’Donnell is based upon — LEONARD S. TOGMAN (her father) — for “standing” of a Delaware voter.
3) Leonard S. Togman’s campaign donations are almost exclusively donations to JOE BIDEN and Thmoas Carper.

The Complaint against Christine O’Donnell is officially, formally brought on behalf of a Delaware voter LEONARD S. TOGMAN.
This same Leonard S. Togman has made 16 donations to Biden in the last decade, totaling $9,975, and 8 donations to Democratic Senator Tom Carper, whom everyone expects Christine O’Donnell to run against for the US Senate in 2012, totaling $4,500
67.7% of all of the Togman’s political donations have been to JOE BIDEN
30.5% of all of the Togman’s political donations have been to TOM CARPER, possible future opponent for Christine O’Donnell in 2012.
Melanie Sloan is using her father, a Biden-Carp supporter, as she is, as the COMPLAINTANT in the FEC Complaint.
Here is the link to the pdf file that lists Leonard S. Togman as the official complainant in the charges trumped up by his daughter, Melanie Sloan:
http://freedomist.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/ODonnell-Complaint.pdf

Here is a video of a CBS story just after the O’Donnell upset of Rino Mike Castle featuring Melanie Sloan. Note that CBS refers to Crew (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics) as a non-artisan group urging the FEC to investigate O’Donnell, never mentioning CREW was using Melanie Sloan’s father, Leonard S Togman to trigger the investigation, filing a bogus complaint for his daughter, and in support of Joe Biden and Thomas Carper:

In the advent of a new year, we pause for reflection with sincere appreciation. Our remarkable efforts this year comes to an end with the reaffirmation of the refreshing Constitutional values that unite us. The Northern Virginia Tea Party continues to promote the basic principles we all embrace. While the movement continues to grow, our responsibility remains more profound. While it is accurate to acknowledge that in any relationship change is a constant and while internally we continue to advance the principles that unite us; the debate of ideals is welcome as long as civility remains a constant.

Our recent yearly banquet was a rousing success and demonstrated how resolve and resiliency remains the hallmark of the phenomena that is our organization. Your History. Your News.

The recent announcement that Virginia Thomas, the wife of Associate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is wading into the conservative brew of the tea party movement has many within those ranks excited.

Thomas’ lobbying group, Liberty Central was formed in January to “serve the big tent of the conservative movement,” according to its Web site. It has already received the support of several high-profile conservative leaders. On the group’s Web site, it features a message from former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

“Ginni can help channel the frustration felt by millions across America at the current course of our country,” said Rumsfeld. “Leaders committed to smaller government, fiscal prudence, and a strong national defense will be returning to Washington, D.C., and I am confident that Ginni Thomas will be part of the reason it will happen.”

Thomas attended a rally denouncing the House of Representatives’ health care reform bill and is scheduled to attend another rally in Atlanta on April 15.
Several local tea party leaders said Thomas’ involvement gives the movement a stamp of legitimacy.

“Of course [her involvement] helps,” said Tony Passaro, organizer of the Federation of Maryland Tea Party Patriots. “As the wife of a Supreme Court justice she has a lot of visibility. Her involvement increases the visibility of the whole movement.”

Ron Wilcox, head of the Alexandria Tea Party in Virginia, agreed with Passaro as he excitedly spoke about her involvement.

“This is wonderful. I’m delighted that she’ll be doing such a thing,” Wilcox said. “It is one of the number of steps that has come forward that has advanced the credibility and the viability of the tea party movement.”

There is a sentiment, however, that her move is a further setback for Clarence Thomas in the eyes of many African Americans.

Clarence Thomas’ conservative past and involvement in the Anita Hill scandal has always been a source of controversy within the African-American community. Some say this may be the icing on the cake.

“[Clarence Thomas] is already alienated from the Black community and I don’t know how much further he can get,” said Ronald Walters, director of the African American Leadership Center, and professor of government and politics at the University of Maryland College Park. “His wife played a very early role in his confirmation so this is really not surprising to me.”

Walters added that it is a little unnerving that that the wife of a Supreme Court Justice is joining this movement given the “vicious conservatism” he believes dogs the tea party movement. Given the Thomases’ contacts within the Republican Party, he thinks it could be part of a Republican strategy to gain more support.

“There’s an attempt on the part of the Republican Party to incorporate the tea party movement,” said Walters. “It’s possible that she’s becoming involved in that effort.”
However, members of the movement dismiss that concern as they believe she’s just expressing her rights as a U.S. citizen.

“She has every right to express her political opinion,” said Wilcox. “She’s not a Supreme Court Justice.

“People have their own interests and want to advance them. She shouldn’t be hobbled by her husband’s profession.”

Ron Wilcoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04238362752405421399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-43650261400616182092010-11-14T23:25:00.000-05:002010-11-14T23:25:30.014-05:00Alexandria Times | There’s a Tea Party in Alexandria?Alexandria Times | There’s a Tea Party in Alexandria?

There’s a Tea Party in Alexandria?
 THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4 2010
By Derrick Perkins
Republicans enjoyed a wave of election success nationally Tuesday, but with local gains non-existent, self-described “Tea Partiers” now turn their attention to city and state issues.

Given the much-hyped anti-incumbency backlash heading into the 2010 mid term elections, AJ Kearney, co-organizer of The Alexandria Tea Party, expected fiscally conservative voters with an eye toward promoting limited government and free markets would give 10-term Democratic Congressman Jim Moran a run for his money.

Not long after polls opened, he realized that wasn’t going to happen.

“We were surprised by [Moran’s] margin of victory,” he said. “I was standing in front of a polling station handing out literature and by 11 a.m. I started to think ‘there’s a lot of Democrats coming by here.’”

Republican challenger Patrick Murray picked up 37.3 percent of the electorate, not nearly enough to match Moran, who earned 116, 269 votes or 61.01 percent of the ballots cast. While Kearney expected a better showing for Murray, Moran’s victory at the polls didn’t come out of the blue.

There are two things to remember, he says: Democrats have had a lot of practice preparing for elections in what’s considered a safe seat for the party and local Tea Party enthusiasts didn’t have a lot of time to learn in the run up to the vote.

With the post-election hangover still settling in, Kearney worries fellow activists will lose interest, put away their placards and call it a year. There’s work to be done on the local level, even in a safe district for Democrats, he said.

“We’re trying to offset it by making sure people understand we’ve got a number of things on the docket we need their help on,” Kearney said. “There’s a definite movement, at least in the Virginia Tea Party, to basically get more local. Our focus is not just on national elections, it’s more concentrated on the state and local levels.”

At the moment, that means supporting Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli’s legal challenge of the recently passed health care reform bill and working with other Tea Party groups promoting a small government agenda at the state level, he said.

They’re also extending an olive branch of sorts to their political opponents. Former Alexandria resident and founder of the Northern Virginia Tea Party, Ron Wilcox wants to bridge the partisan divide with incumbents like Moran.

“The question isn’t just are with the politicians, but are they with us,” he said. “Each of those people has a vote on Capitol Hill, whether we agree with them or not. We respect the voice of the American people on these elections and we are going to continue to urge our elected officials to return to limited government.”

When 2012 rolls around, Michael Ginsberg, 8th District Republican Party chair, expects to see many of the same faces and local groups turn out to volunteer, man phone banks and go door-to-door. Until the issues driving the grassroots activism disappear, they’ll stick around on the political stage, he said.

“Certainly, they were an enormous asset to our candidates,” Ginsberg said. “I see them as staying around for as long as these issues are active. I don’t think the issues that are motivating the Tea Party will have gone away [by 2012]. They will remain active.”

It’s too soon to see whether Alexandria’s Tea Party organization will back a candidate in the next election cycle, Kearney said. He won’t put an exact figure on the number of Tea Partiers in the city — a couple of hundred, he says — but they’re preparing for the future.

He laughed at Moran’s acceptance speech analysis of Murray’s campaign as doomed by “extremist Tea Party views.”

“We can’t tell them don’t do that, we just got to concentrate on organizing,” Kearney said. “We just think we have a better ideas.”
Ron Wilcoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04238362752405421399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-63008911205707211962010-11-14T23:16:00.000-05:002010-11-14T23:16:45.144-05:00Political Activists Question Tea Party ImpactPolitical Activists Question Tea Party Impact
Political Activists Question Tea Party Impact
Democrats and Republicans say ‘anti-government’ message unlikely to resonate in Fairfax.

By Julia O'Donoghue
Friday, October 29, 2010

Back when Sandy Green was a federal employee several years ago, public sector workers made less than private sector employees. But today, Green believes federal employees make more than their counterparts in the private sector, she said.

"Now, it is totally the opposite. You can make more money as a government employee. It all happened very quickly," said Green, who worries that federal spending, including retirement packages and other benefits, have gotten out of hand.

Traditionally, Green had never been very politically active. But she was dismayed by what she saw during the 2008 Democratic Party primary race, when President Barack Obama beat Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

So in the summer of 2009, she started to become active with the Tea Party movement, going to marches on the National Mall and attending local meetings.

A year later, Green is participating in a monthly discussion group on the U.S. Constitution and watching Glenn Beck on a regular basis. She and two other women formed the Fair Lakes Tea Party, a local chapter of the larger Northern Virginia Tea Party, three months ago.

"Now, I am a conservative," said Green.

Green is a conservative, but she is not a Republican.

"For myself, it is not really about political party. ... But I do really think we can make a difference. We can provide manpower to candidates," she said.

LOCAL TEA PARTY activists intend to have an impact in Fairfax County's three congressional races Nov. 2.

Northern Virginia Tea Party founder Ron Wilcox said the organization will try to have volunteers at most of the local polling stations on Election Day, much like the Democratic Party and Republican Party do. The group is also sponsoring seminars on how to become "conservative Internet activist" and community organizing workshops.

"Tea Party folks are not a happy lot. They want to know that their candidates are going to pursue limited government," said Wilcox, who described himself as a conservative grassroots organizer.

Though flyers for the Tea Party described the organization as nonpartisan, Wilcox encouraged members to volunteer for Fairfax's three Republican candidates for U.S. Congress — Patrick Murray, U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-10) and Keith Fimian.

"One of the things that I am hearing is that the campaigns need help with phone banking," said Wilcox during the Fair Lakes gathering.

Wilcox, who has worked with conservative movements and on previous political campaigns, is confident that the Tea Party activists will have an impact on local elections.

"There is a lot of energy. This group meets once per week. Sometimes they meet more often than that," he said.

"For each one of us here, there are 10 other people that cannot be here but have gotten involved," said Alma Jackson, a Fairfax resident who is a Fair Lakes Tea Party member.

BUT SEASONED Democratic and Republican political activists question the impact that the Tea Party brand of conservatism can have in Northern Virginia, particularly if the movement pursues an "anti-federal government" message.

"Fairfax is a government town and it is always going to be a government town," said former U.S. Rep. Tom Davis, who used to represent Connolly's district and now works for a large federal government contractor.

More federal contracts flow to Fairfax than any other locality in the country and the largest employer in Virginia's 11th congressional district, where Fimian is running against U.S. Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-11), is the federal government, according to a Fairfax Economic Development Authority report.

In part because of the large federal workforce, Fairfax County is also enjoying a much lower unemployment rate, around 4.7 percent, than the country as a whole, where unemployment is just over 9 percent.

"I think the Republican base is very angry and upset but I am not sure we are seeing the level of anger here that there is elsewhere," said Fairfax County Supervisor John Cook (R-Braddock).

STILL, elected officials said many local voters are upset and nervous about the direction of the country, even if they haven't aligned themselves with the Tea Party movement. Incumbents, including Connolly, should not underestimate their level of concern, they said.

"There is tremendous anger out there directed at any person who holds any position of power. People are angry about unemployment and the national deficit," said Fairfax County Supervisor Jeff McKay (D-Lee).

State Sen. Dave Marsden (D-37), who has been campaigning for Connolly, said he also hears about concern from the voters.

"I think this is a difficult environment for incumbents. People are worried about the deficit and voters are going to do what they think sends the best message," said Marsden, who also thinks the election between Connolly and Fimian will be close.

In a more positive economic climate, the race between Fimian and Connolly would not be as close as it is, said some Republicans and Democrats.

"Northern Virginia is not in love with Republicans. But I think our voters want to add a little balance to the political equation," said Davis.

"As the incumbent and former Fairfax County chairman, Connolly should be way ahead. I think the fact that this is a close race shows how unhappy people are," said Cook.Ron Wilcoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04238362752405421399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-69046458284896158082010-11-06T09:22:00.000-04:002010-11-06T09:22:53.383-04:00Northern Virginia Tea Party Members and Events were featured in this video about the Tea Party Movement
Frank Wolf (R-Dist. 10) address their concerns.

About 200 members of the Northern Virginia Tea Party, including head organizer Ron Wilcox, jammed themselves into the back room of the Amphora Diner in Herndon around noon to hear Wolf give an impromptu "State of the Union" speech and address specific questions about the future of the Republican Party.

"I have never been more concerned for our country," Wolf said. "If we were a business, we would be filing for bankruptcy."

For about five minutes, Wolf painted a dire picture of a U.S. whose debts are being continuously purchased by foreign powers while the current administration spends money foolishly.

"This administration has failed," Wolf said, "America may lose its AAA bond rating by 2013. Meanwhile President [Barack] Obama recently approved $23 million to be spent ratifying the constitution of Kenya."

After his short speech, Wolf was peppered with questions by tea party members wanting to know what he and the Republican Party were going to do about the future of the country, which many referred to as a "sinking ship."

"I have a reputation of honesty and integrity," Wolf said. "You can believe me when I tell you that a Republican Congress will come in next year, and it will address everything that needs addressing." Former Herndon Town Council member Ann Null asked Wolf what could be done by citizens working the polls to prevent voter fraud.

"The Republican Party should take on the responsibility of establishing teams of lawyers and a hotline that people can access if they witness any impropriety at the polls," he said. "These lawyers should be prepared to file immediate injunctions to keep voter fraud at bay. Anyone witnessing fraud should report it through this process."

After the short question-and-answer session, Wilcox thanked Wolf for attending and said the Northern Virginia Tea Party movement, which centers on fighting excessive government spending and taxation, was going strong.

"There are about 1,500 members and we are growing every day," he said.

"More and more politicians are coming to our meetings," said James Dimaria of Herndon. "They know that we are for real and that we are growing. They know they can not afford to ignore us."

"I think it is a healthy movement," Wolf said. "The tea party is a movement of the people and not an institutional one. The more citizen participation you have, the stronger a democracy becomes."

Ron Wilcoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04238362752405421399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-319730238143718062010-10-21T18:27:00.000-04:002010-10-21T18:27:10.424-04:00Virginia Politics Blog - State GOP will vote on Cuccinelli's proposal for higher filing fees at state conventionsVirginia Politics Blog - State GOP will vote on Cuccinelli's proposal for higher filing fees at state conventions

State GOP will vote on Cuccinelli's proposal for higher filing fees at state conventions

The Republican Party of Virginia's governing board will decide in December whether to adopt Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli's proposal to dramatically raise filing fees for statewide candidates seeking the party's nomination at political conventions.

Last month, Cuccinelli called for candidates for governor to pay up to $50,000 and candidates for lieutenant governor and attorney general up to $25,000 to secure a spot at the party's nominating convention. He also wanted delegates to be charged for attending the convention.

Dave Rexrode, executive director of the Republican Party of Virginia, said members of the Republican State Central Committee will vote on whether candidates for statewide office, including U.S. Senate, will pay fees of up to $25,000 and convention delegates will begin paying a mandatory fee.

Mike Thomas, the party's first vice chairman, wrote the State Central Committee in an email that the committee reviewing the party platform wants to limit the amount to $25,000. "This proposed amendment was discussed at great length, with the committee members feeling that a proposed filing fee of $50,000 for the office of Governor was too high,'' he wrote.

In an interview last month, Cuccinelli said an increase in fees would help pay for the cost of the convention and ensure conventions remain an option for the party. He said the state party lost money at the 2009 gathering where he, Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) and Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling (R) were nominated.

But some activists worry that raising filing fees could shut out candidates who have trouble paying the hefty fees to get into the nominating process.

"That's something that disturbs tea party patriots a great deal,'' said Ron Wilcox of Fairfax County, founder of the Northern Virginia Tea Party. "It's not in favor of tea party people being more involed in the Republican party. And that's very troubling."

The move is also likely to be seen as a way to ensure the party chooses a convention to nominate its gubernatorial candidate in 2013, a process that favors more conservative candidates who are popular with the party's grassroots -- like Cuccinelli.

But Cuccinelli has said that even with higher filing fees, conventions are cheaper for candidates than primaries, making them a better option for non-traditional candidates. And he denied that the move has anything to do with his own political future.

The costs of holding primary elections are paid by taxpayers, split between the state and local governments. Filing fees for primary elections are set by the state board of elections and set at two percent of the salary of the office sought.

The party plan previously called for gubernatorial candidates to pay $25,000 at conventions. But in March 2008, the party lowered filing fees to match those charged for primary candidates.

McDonnell paid just $3,500 to run unopposed at during the state GOP convention, or 2 percent of the governor's $175,000 salary. (Cuccinelli paid $3,000 in his three-way race while Bolling paid $762 to run against Patrick Muldoon).

In November 2009, after McDonnell, Bolling and Cuccinelli were elected, the amount was raised to 4 percent of the office's salary after some local parties complained that they had trouble paying for their meetings and conventions.

Convention delegates have not been required to be a mandatory fee since 1994. Last year, the more than 11,000 delegates were asked to pay $35, but many did not.

2010

10

13

09

00
By Anita Kumar | October 13, 2010; 9:00 AM ET
Ron Wilcoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04238362752405421399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-20675980010110433252010-10-20T16:29:00.002-04:002010-10-20T16:58:11.856-04:00Tea Partier offers job fix on CNNhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWimDXQBwmEsevilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08103100039887873901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-32636931134415105932010-10-20T15:35:00.002-04:002010-10-20T16:58:37.158-04:00Tea Party gets tough with MSMhttp://www.pjtv.com/?cmd=mpg&mpid=174&load=4295sevilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08103100039887873901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-69805131255405423602010-10-20T14:48:00.001-04:002010-10-20T15:00:28.793-04:00NAACP and the Tea Partyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo5VDP5tAM4sevilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08103100039887873901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-13520892051387716892010-10-20T14:06:00.000-04:002010-10-20T14:19:25.832-04:00A Vote For A Liberal Democrat Is A Vote For United Nations Control Of Americattp://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/28914
By Jerry McConnell Tuesday, October 19, 2010
Please! Fellow citizens, do not give the corrupt, power-mad liberals more time in Congress—their goal is to destroy our Constitution, and our Country and be ruled by United Nations tyrants.

And this message is also for the other members of the Democratic Party that do not necessarily believe in the unorthodox methods and beliefs of their three radical leaders, Obama, Pelosi and Reid. Many are good Americans, like my father, who believed in America first and Party second. If his choice was to vote with his Party for a program that would saddle our country with huge debt and taxes on our citizens just to say that they could do it, he would vote against it. Those kind of Democrats are rare today.

Last Sunday (10/17) John Lillipop wrote a brilliant summation of the evils that the current Administration and its accomplice liberal Democrats in Congress have been and are still planning to inflict on our country. I was so impressed with the urgency and truth of what he detailed in his column here on Canada Free Press on Sunday, October 17, 2010, that I was moved to write this column of total agreement and further warnings to good, honest Americans who still love freedom and want to keep our country the same.

As this is being written, Obama and his State Department hatchet-woman, Hillary Clinton, are in the process of giving the United Nations total unilateral control over all of the weapons in the hands of all Americans. They are trying to do this WITHOUT even giving the citizens of America a chance to refuse such a treacherous and traitorous action. How dare they accommodate people who would scuttle us in a gnat’s whisker of time? This dictatorial conduct must not be allowed to go unpunished.

We MUST NOT ALLOW this double-crossing disloyalty to our country’s honest and true-blooded citizens to occur, because once they remove our only avenues of protection, we are helpless and will fall under the control of those who hate us just for being what we are; the greatest country ever.

For all those of you who doubt this or are in agreement with the traitorous liberal Democrats, many of whom are being duped unconsciously, please do an Internet search with the words, “Obama Clinton UN Gun Control.” You will be amazed at the sneakiness and outright unfaithful conduct both our usurper president and his willing accomplice Secretary of State would inflict on our unsuspecting country.

John Lillipop listed several items of disloyalty and certainly, impeachable offenses against the citizens of our country for which he is to be commended. Time is running out for corrections that can be made to put a halt to these unprincipled actions that would sink our country to the levels of the worst third world rogue nations.

Fellow citizens, we have less than two weeks before the elections on November 02, 2010; but in that short period, much harm and damage to our country can be administered by those power-mad liberals who have headed our country down the slippery slope to socialism-communism. We have to be extremely watchful of the actions of these American traitors who are citizens of doubt eager to sink our wonderful ship of state.

Led by the fortunes and finances of the nefarious Bildeberg Group consisting of multi-billionaires who are bored with the status quo that Americans love so much, there have obviously been promises made by such “should-be felons” as George Soros, the Rockefellers, Buffet and that ilk, to our liberal Democrats of the glorious “One World” universe controlled by them and other tin-pot despots of third world fame. These dupes, so easily lured and converted to be anti-Americans, follow along hook, line and sinker to the termination of the most successful country ever in existence in our world.

Please, Mr. and Mrs. Loyal America, take a stand with Mr. Lillipop and me and call out these traitors by voting AGAINST them even if you feel disloyal; because that feeling of disloyalty is justified by stopping the destruction of all that our county stands for; goodness, honesty and the principles of our founding fathers who took that same stand AGAINST the tyrannical forces of their day to put forth this great nation.

Stand with Americans who love their country; not those who would sink it for personal gain. Benedict Arnold was in that latter category and you know what real Americans think of him in history.sevilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08103100039887873901noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-43734929469311913392010-10-20T14:05:00.001-04:002010-10-20T15:01:07.550-04:00The forgotten man-videohttp://biggeekdad.com/2010/09/the-forgotten-man/sevilhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08103100039887873901noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-32134629272966502222010-10-20T13:51:00.000-04:002010-10-20T13:54:19.949-04:001963 Communist goals to destabilize the United StatesJust in case you've forgotten:

This is a list of communist goals to destabilize the United States, as presented to a Congressional hearing in 1963:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers
.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

How far do you think they have come in achieving their goals? The Administration is closely coordinating with the media to tamp down any opposition to their policies. Americans feel that NO ONE in Washington is listening to them. The silent responsible majority needs to be given a voice to counter the daily spin in the mainstream media.

I also felt the need for the I decided to organize Northern Virginia Tax Day Tea Party, because I felt that there was a real need to organize Northern Virginia for this and future Tea Party events. The DC event is in the middle of a work day preventing participation by many and others who simply do not like to go into DC for logistical reasons. Organizers say that we are on track to have 1250 tea parties nationwide with the goal of as many as 2009.

CCC: How many people do you anticipate to have at the event?
RW: I anticipate 200 or more people that are fed up with out of control Government, the area I have selected will be seen by every single person going to pay their taxes and could facilitate hundreds more demonstrators stretching down both sides of Lee Highway.

CCC: Have you experienced any issues with arranging a site for the tea party?
RW: We do not require a permit for our area but are working with the traffic authorities for everyone’s safety.

CCC: Will there be any guest speakers at this event? If so, who?
RW: We have invited State Senator [and current Attorney General candidate] Ken Cuccinelli and Congressman Frank Wolf.

CCC: Do you hope that this will spur other activist events in the future?
RW: Do I ever! Silent majority no more. We have a form on our web page so that people can sign up to get involved and be informed of this and other similar upcoming events.

CCC: What other groups have partnered with you to make this event possible?
RW: We are working with a number of civic minded individuals and groups. We are working with the DC Tax Day Tea Party and the Virginia Tax Day Tea Parties to help publicize our events. Also, we are coordinating with the Reston Tax Day Tea Party for maximum impact and attendance. The Reston event is being organized by the American Conservative Party. We will be posting their event on our website shortly when we have worked out a few details. We are also looking to work with the Leadership Institute for a 4th of July Tea party at their annual Conservative Soiree at Bull Run Park.

**Cross Posted at Virginia News Platoon
Posted in Economy, Virginia Politics.
Tagged with Congress, Economy, Tea Party.

 By crystalclearconservative – April 6, 2009
Ron Wilcoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04238362752405421399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423027808750364850.post-52400994862216287012010-10-19T01:03:00.002-04:002010-10-19T20:47:22.540-04:00Meet and GreetEvents

Be There ... or Be Ineffective!

What: "Learn how to Beat the Political establishment!" - A one day class that will radically improve your effectiveness in advancing Tea Party Values

When: Saturday, September 18th, from 9am-4pm

Where: 10740 Parkridge Boulevard, Reston, VA.(at Hunter Mill exit of Dulles Toll Road)

Northern Virginia Tea Party is offering you a private one day training session by two of Virginia’s top experts in issues advocacy and political persuasion – for ONLY $35 - including lunch! These guys will turn your impression of how to be effective completely upside down. Sign up, even if you can only attend half a day (though honestly you'll regret missing even a bit of this special program).

Every specialty has its experts, people who have learned things the hard way, so you don't have to. Steve Waters and Joe Glover, old hands in the Virginia issues and political scene, have not only been personally trained by the best instructors in “outside” issues advocacy, but they have also practiced and refined it in numerous issues and political campaigns. Their techniques, which you don't get from standard classes, are hugely effective.

As life-long conservative activist and leader Morton Blackwell says, “You owe it to your philosophy to study how to win”. At this one day class, Steve and Joe will share with you techniques that will transform your effectiveness in advancing Tea Party values.
Advance registration is mandatory, and we may have to turn people away do to the room size.
